NOSAL, Miloslav (Milo).  March 23, 1939 (Choceň, Czechoslovakia) to November 9, 2018 (Calgary, Alberta, Canada).    Milo Nosal passed away peacefully in his Calgary home on 9 November 2018 at 79 years of age. Milo was born in Choceň, Czechoslovakia, to Vilém and Maruška Nosal. The oldest of 3 boys, Milo studied composition at the Prague Conservatory of Music and was an accomplished pianist, flautist and clarinetist. He earned his MS (1961) and PhD (1967) in Mathematical Statistics from Charles University in Prague before embarking to Canada in 1968 in search of adventure and opportunity.
